Because we serve more than 3,000 UK charities, our fees are far lower than the costs of setting up, hosting and running your own secure donation and fundraising site.
Transaction fee
Justgiving’s transaction fee is 5% of the gross donation (ie donation plus Gift Aid reclaim). VAT is applicable on this fee. Credit and debit card fees are passed onto you at cost price.
If the donor is a UK taxpayer, their donation will be paid to your charity in full. Justgiving deducts its 5% fee plus VAT, and card fees, from the Gift Aid reclaimed. The table below illustrates how these various charges affect a £10 donation made on Justgiving.
